Exactly What Happens in Your First FLX Session?

5–7 min: meet + comfort check (“not a test”)

10–12 min: safety foundations (plain language)

5–8 min: range orientation

60–70 min: guided progression (start low recoil, progress only if comfortable)

10–15 min: debrief + two-option next step
What do I need to bring to my FLX session?
- Drivers license or a valid ID required.
- Closed-toe shoes required.
- Clothing must be protective to avoid burns from ejected brass.
- Clothing should not display drugs, obscenities, controversial, lewd or illegal behavior.
- No one is allowed to shoot while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- All firearms and ammo will be provided by FLX
What will I shoot during my FLX Xperience? (always at your pace)

Can I take the LTC class if I am under 21?
- Texas eligibility can include age and other factors, with certain exceptions (for example, some military-related cases). For the most current requirements, verify directly with Texas DPS resources. This is not legal advice.
Do I have to be a Texas resident to get a LTC?
- Well, Texas has a restricted form of permitless carry but you can carry in more places with more protections with a LTC.
Is the online LTC class legal in Texas?

Is the online class hard?
- The course is designed to be clear, straightforward, and self-paced. If you take notes and work through it calmly, most people do very well.

- Yes. The online class is self paced and available 24/7.
